Who Are We

Royden Engineering Limited is a privately owned company established in 1968. The company employs over 100 personnel operating out of our Rainford head office. Royden Engineering Limited is now the largest producer of steelwork in the Merseyside area with a production capacity of 10,500 tonnes per annum, and an annual turnover of £12 million.



We offer a full design, fabrication and erection service of all forms of structural steelwork. We are able to incorporate sub trades into our workscope and are pro-active in harvesting the information required.
We have the capacity to comfortably service projects up to 3000 tonnes or to the value of £4 million.

• Our Engineering department offer a pro-active design service which includes full structural and connection design. We welcome the chance to integrate with the clients design teams at every  stage of the project to provide value engineering and give cost effective solutions.
• All projects are engineered using X Steel and Strucad, both market leading 3D modelling and detailing software packages.
• Our fabrication facilities employs the latest CNC equipment – 2 new fully automated lines having been installed in July 2006..
• Construction work is undertaken by our directly employed site staff enabling Royden to offer a safe and efficient service.
• Implementation of  Quality Control systems ensuring client satisfaction.
