Health and Safety

Royden Engineering Limited are committed to providing the highest standards of health, safety and welfare for  its employees and also to protect the client and the public against potential risk to their safety and recognise the importance of Health and Safety at the core of its operations.

The company have a dedicated Health and Safety department and encourage the cultivation amongst employees of an awareness of the importance of safe working and of co-operation in accident and incident prevention at all levels. The company’s management structure ensures it provides extensive training programmes and information to achieve the requirements of this policy.

All directors, Managers, Supervisors and employees are actively involved and are encouraged to contribute in the process of improvement of Health and Safety within the workplace through Safety committees and regular evaluation meetings.

The procedures are reviewed by the Management on a regular basis in an effort to constantly improve and ensure compliance with current legislation and best possible practice.

Compliance with the procedures is regularly monitored and audits are carried out on each site and in the workshop and offices by the company’s NEBOSH qualified Safety Advisor. This has proved to be successful with a marked improvement in performance in all areas of our business.
